Enveloped's Xanga

as usual it's been forever

I'm not sure why but i was sitting at my computer checking out facebook and myspace and realized that i still have this xanga and NEVER update it. SO quick update on my life:

1. I am dating Sean Carroll, the most amazing godly man in the entire universe. We've been dating since last october and loving every minute of it. He will be here friday!! and then i'll go up to baltimore for a long weekend in July.

2.I have no job and am being a bum this summer, well not really but true story about not being able to find a job.

3. I am currently helping organize and plan a January trip to India and Nepal (email me if you're interested)

4. I will be a junior this fall at Randolph Macon pursuing a degree in Math. No idea what i'm going to do with that but it sounded like a good idea.

5. I am still writing music and singing and you should check out the myspace page www.myspace.com/cryingmelody and watch out cause i may record a demo but that's still just a maybe.

anyways i love you guys and am sorry that i'm such a slacker but oh well if you need anything let me know =]

hey everyone!! hope you had a Wonderful Christ filled Christmas and a great New Years!!! Lisa and Andrew came up for Christmas so that was quite wonderful! They left Sunday and i got sick. . .Saturday night. So that's a bummer but i'm sure i'll perk back up soon. Let's see what else has happened. Well, i heard back from the Park Scholarship and i didn't even make to the semifinals BIG bummer! Not sure what that means, i won't get accepted into State's architectural school because i haven't done anything in the past (you would think that's what colleges are for wouldn't you?) so i have no clue what i'm doing. But i'm trying to continue to seek God and follow Him and i trust He will work it all out to His glory. Please be praying for my college plans though as i really want to do whatever God has ordained for me to and i'm not sure what that is yet. I would also appreciate prayers concerning the summer of '07, no clue what i'm doing. I will be applying for an internship with WorldView Academy and i am seriously considering returning to Precept's camp as it was amazing! But i don't know where i'm supposed to go on missions next summer or what i'm supposed to do. So please be praying for a blatant revelation there as well. As always, know i love you all and appreciate you a ton. I will try to keep updating every so often so you don't completely lose track of me! Once again don't hesitate to email or call me if you need something, or just want to chat. Love ya'll!!!

So basically i haven't been on here in forever and a day. SORRY! school, church, applications, and myspace have taken my attention completely away from this. soooooo update!

~Summer~ was AMAZING God worked in so may wonderful ways. my trips were just awesome and at the camps i learned SO much and made tons of great friends!

~Fall~ i'm still attending ACC for dual-enrollment and that's going okay~my application to State is in as well as the Parks Scholarship. please pray for that when you get a chance! ~ my other applications are due by the first so lot to get done there!

~Dad and Mom~ their church is doing really well, they've helped instill a hunger for God in the hearts of their congregation.

~Lisa is PREGNANT!!! yayyyyyy! i'm super excited, she due in May so yay!

So i haven't posted in a while eh? well here's a post for ya:

MY GOD IS THE GREATEST EVER!

so i've gotten to see God provide me with some supporters for this summer. I'm soooooo excited about the trips, and getting more and more excited each day. please continue to be in prayer with me about support because at the moment i have about $3500 more to raise. PLUS i'll need some monies to buy everything i need for my trips. BUT i know God will be faithful in providing people to help me with that and help to send me out for the Gospel.

if you would be interested in helping me financially please email me and i will get you the information!

Also new knews next weekend 30 hr. famine! need sponsors for that too, every $30 feeds a starving child for 30 days. this is for worldvision, i'll go without food for 30 straight hours, need some supporters, either hourly or an overall donation works. please let me know if you're interested in that at all also!

I've been told that it's been too long since i've posted, so i'm back. let's see what has happened. . .really not much. school is still school. i'm getting a bunch of 90s from my english class lol. which i find funnny. um church is still church, we're have a Song of Solomon conference this weekend so that should go well. we are also getting ready for the 30 hr. Famine. I'm trying to get 24 people to be willing to sponsor me to go without food for 30 hrs. it's going to be a lockin type thing and we're not gonna eat. all the money will go to World Vision to feed hungry children, each $30 will feed a child for 30 days! how cool is that! so if you are interested in sponsoring me let met know! okay that's about it, if you want to hear random stuff go to my myspace www.myspace.com/cryingrock i luv ya'll and will ttyl!

I Got a 90!!!!!!! it's so pityful, it was my like 5 sentence paper on this half a sentence poem. me and my partner wrote it IN CLASS and i edited it alittle and typed it up. and we got a perfect score! haha it's ironic. but i'm happy, very happy because after i get a 90 on my essay i will have some info for the head of the department and can be like "look! it's perfect! and i got a 90! what's up with that!" yay! life is good!

Okay God is very very very good! I found some perks of this semester wanna hear them? i don't care i'm telling you anyway.

1) I have more relaxed days so my Quiet Time has more time

2) I am available for part time jobs

3) I have time to really do well in school

4) I am able to still help out around the house

5) I get to go on missions trips that most people just dream of

6) I have friends all over the world! yeah that's not just for this semester but i was running out of options. and besides neither was the last one!

okay i'm going to ask myself 7 questions and answer them then i'm going to tag 7 people and they have to answer the same 7 questions and post them on their xanga.

1) What's your favorite color? Turquoisish blue

2) What has God told you through His word this week? That He has ordained everything that is happening, it's all in His plan, and that He is using it to shape me

3) If you could have one genuine compliment told you every day of your life, what would it be? "You're worth it"

4) What's the funniest phrase you've ever heard? "Lucky Bunnies!" <---- had to have been there

5) If you could do anything right now what would it be? run away, with permission from my parents, and go somewhere where i have close friends that don't live here

6) What's the biggest prayer request you have right this second? that every Christian in the world would see how precarious our position is and that we need to step it up and get our acts together and our focus on God

7) Under what circumstances will you cry? In public: only if i'm in severe enough pain, or if i'm majorly worshipping and get emotional(neither happen very often) In private: mainly when i'm praying and my heart is burdened with something. Or if i've been really hurt by someone. getting me to cry takes alot of work usually you have to call me a liar or tell me that i'm not close enough to God or something stupid like that.

Met with my professor today after class and i was right, he though it wasn't mine. argh. he was soo not helpful, i still don't know how he took 16 points off. all he said was that it wasn't "clear" and that "the last two paragraphs seemed a bit too mature for a freshman" ha! maybe they were "unc lear" to him because they were mature anyway, i'm taking it as a compliment, but i'm still annoyed that i got a blasted B, and don't know how to fix it. I guess i need to make it simplistic and dumbed down, and state my opinion without worrying about structure or style. ugh. okay, bumming it for one hour, and then writing another stupid thing for my teacher, and doing math. I HAte school! RAR! blah,
